About Us
Thirteen A Social Enterprise (13:ASE) is a youth entrepreneurial program of the Parkdale Food Centre. We engage youth who are seeking employment and skills development opportunities in the operation of our social enterprises. Where we make and sell African spice mixes inspired by the country particiapants of the program have come from. We also developed The Social Market as a platform to support and sell other Social Enterprise products and pop-up as a retailer at locations throughout the Ottawa area.

Solutionary Crew - Now Hiring
The Solutionary Crew is responsible for learning about Food Secuirty within a Solutionary mind set.
- Learn about taking a Solutionary approach to problem solving
- Learn about Food justice and food security issues in our community
- Embark on a project to make an impact in with the food security space

Libin Omar
Sales and Social Media Coordinator
Libin first became involved with PFC in 2016 as a participant of the Thirteen program. She has a keen interest in business and is currently enrolled in a Food Business Management program at Algonquin College.
Mohammed Moafak
Youth Engagement Coordinator /Program Coordintor
The Program Coordinator is responsible for delivering the majority of our training and for supporting the engagement of the youth team in our business activities
Meagan McVeigh
Program Manager
Meagan has been working with PFC since 2017 and is the Program Manager of Thirteen. She has helped developed the program training materials and supports the facilitation and coordination of program delivery.
