To Make the Fufu:
1 bag of corn flour
Step 1: Boil water in a saucepan (quantity depending on the number of people) Turn off the heat.
Step 2: Quickly pour cornmeal into the water, stirring with a spatula, trying not to make lumps, until all the water is absorbed.
Step 3: Stir vigorously with a wooden spatula by scraping the edges of the pan and crushing any lumps. You have to knead well. This should form a fairly compact ball.
- 2 Pounds of Ground Beef or Chopped Beef
- 2 Large white onions, chopped
- 1 1/2 Cup celery, chopped
- 1 Can tomato soup
- 2 Teaspoons Salt
- 2 Green peppers
- 1 Teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil
- 2 Teaspoons of Berbere
In a large pot, add oil and beef and cook on medium heat until brown. Stir in onions, celery, ginger, and pepper. Add Berbere spice and salt. Add the can of tomato soup (do not add water) and stir as it heats. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 20 minutes.
