Pili Pili meatballs

This recipe is one of my favourite meals to share with my family, because it is healthy and spicy, and they love it when I make it for them. Serve with Pili Pili Beef sauce for an extra saucy kick!

Yield - 3 servings

Prep time = 10-15 min

Cook time = 15-20 min

Tools & Equipment 

  •  Ice Cream spoon
  •  A deep dish (Bolle) 
  •  Spatula
  •  Large skillet

INGREDIENTS 

  • 1 Lb. Ground beef
  • 1\2 Onion diced
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1\2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1\2 green pepper, sliced
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • ¼ cup fresh Parsley, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 Tbsp Pili pili spice


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together all the ingredients, except the oil. Use a big spoon or your hands to make sure all the ingredients are fully mixed.
  2. Use a scoop to shape the meatballs.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.  
  4. When the oil is hot add the raw meatballs.
  5. Cook the meatballs in the pan until they are brown on all sides, about 10 minutes. Be sure to flip the meatballs around in the pan so that they get brown all over
