Friday April 30th from 7-830pm - FLOW AND LET GO I will be teaching an online flow class (active), then we will have Teresa McLean (RMT & owner of Sage Wellness) guide some self massage, followed by a yin/restorative (relaxed) practice. This class is designed to give the nervous system release in what has been a very challenging time for a long time. It is sliding scale from $0-50 so please do feel free to share with any clients, staff or volunteers that you think could benefit.

This Weeks Introduction From Warrior Yoga

Welcome to the fourth practice of this moving meditation series! This series uses powerful tools such as movement, music, breath, meditation, poetry and journaling to fuel an intention. Our intention for this practice is to receive. The last few practices we used our body and breath to listen, make space and mend. Coming from a place of self-knowledge and healing, we are primed to experience many benefits from receiving.
To receive, from the universe, the world, moments, others, it helps be to open. With the space we mended and protected through healing, we can explore being open to the possibilities and gifts that receiving may provide us. Being open can feel vulnerable, there is an element of trust in this process. Trust in the universe or world, and (arguably most important) trust in yourself. This practice we will open ourselves up together and trust the process (each day is different) and receive gifts we could never have imagined!
I recommend you do the series practices in sequential order for maximum benefit, but these practices do all stand alone. You can use all the tools or only some - keep yourself open to the endless possibilities you may receive.

A poem by rupi kaur to ponder as you explore the intention to listen.
when the world comes crashing at your feet
it’s okay to let others
help pick up the pieces
if we’re present to take part in your happiness
when your circumstance are great
we are more than capable
of sharing your pain

Journal Prompts
Take 30 - 60 minutes to complete the journal prompts below. I recommend doing this either right after or the same day as your practice. Happy writing and be brave with your pen.
1 - List blocks/fears that may prevent you from being open.
2 - What do these fears teach you on how you want to feel?
3 - What is something you accomplished, when thought you could not?

Practice
This practice with Sylvie is a slow flow that uses movement, breath work and meditation to fuel an intention - to receive. The physical practice includes kneeling, seated and standing postures.
