Mutton Pulao Rice

Inspiration
I chose this recipe because it's one of the recipes my sister learned how to cook by herself. The first time she cooked it the whole family loved it so I also started to learn how to cook it after. I love this recipe because we eat it a lot at the eid al adha festival

75 mins (15mins for mixing green pepper and onions together until the onions light golden, 15 mins for mixing the lamb and 45 mins for the rice)
INGREDIENTS
- 1 big green pepper, chopped
- 3 small yellow onions chopped
- 400 g of lamb cubed
- 1 cup of peas
- 1 ½ g of rice
- 1800ml of water
- ½ tbsp of Pilau Masala spice
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 cup tbsp Oil

Instructions
- Fry the mutton pieces with oil and season with salt to taste
- in a separate pan heat oil and fry the onions and green pepper until the onions turn light golden. set aside
- in a pot over medium heat oil once the oil is heated add 5 cups of washed rice and stir add 7 cups of water, salt and pilau masala spice, stir well and cover for a 7 minutes
- Put the meat, onions and green pepper in the rice and mix them all together for 5-7 minutes
- Serve
